Park Area

 The park is situated on the Carrick on Shannon ByPass Road oposite The Landmark Hotel and Court. It is beautifully landscaped with native trees, shrubs and ornamental grasses. A lovely spot for an after dinner stroll or just to sit and watch the sun go down.

Stephen Diamond and Associates, the creators of the park, in 2009 were Commended by the Irish Landscape Institute Public Realm: Riverfront Amenity Park, Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim.

In 2007, SDA were named Joint Winner with Leitrim County Council in the Chambers Ireland
Excellence in Local Government Awards, Public Sports and Recreation Award: Riverfront Amenity Park, Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim.
