Gaelscoil Liatroma is a Co educational  Irish Medium Primary School conveniently located on the grounds of St Mary’s GAA club in Carrick-on Shannon. We are delighted to be awaiting our new permanent school building from the Department of Education sanctioned for 2015.

Gaelscoil Liatroma is a multi cultural school with a Catholic ethos which welcomes children from all denominations.   The team in Gaelscoil Liatroma delivers the primary school curriculum recognising that children have different learning styles.   The school day is varied and interesting for the children including participation in sporting, musical and theatrical events and where possible the curriculum is delivered in a  hands- on active manner.

Gaelscoil Liatroma is a growing community where teachers and parents work together  in forwarding the education of the children. The school welcomes and encourages members of the wider community to come in to enhance the education of the children.
