Since its inception in 1966 the Chamber of Commerce in Carrick on Shannon has been to the forefront in lobbying on behalf of its members, whether it is attracting more tourism, upgrading the rail line, rural renewal tax designation, decentralisation issues or making introductions of new businesses.
Our Mission
To promote business in the wider Carrick-on-Shannon area, to attract new businesses into the town, to lobby for business interests, to provide services and information for members, and to encourage camaraderie and goodwill among members and between the Chamber and other organisations. The Chamber is fully committed to supporting the community in whatever way it can.
The Chamber meets are on the 2nd Wednesday of each month unless otherwise noted and it normally does not hold a meeting in July or August.
