Slí Na Sláinte (Path to Health)
Devised by the Irish Heart Foundation, the Carrick on Shannon route is 5.5km and is recommended that it is walked during the day as part of the route is unlighted.
Many common heart and weight problems can be alleviated by taking at least some exercise during the week. Anything is better than none at all. Taking a walk for leisure as well as for health is great for your mental wellbeing too!
